In 2023, Opera Holland Park is once again inviting school groups from the local community to explore opera with specially tailored workshops and matinee performances.
We are delighted to invite teachers and pupils to this summer’s Schools’ Matinee programme.
We will be producing two performances specifically for schools: one full production of Hansel and Gretel, on 14 June at 12pm, and an ‘Introduction to the Opera’ for younger audiences on 21 June at 12pm.
All tickets are £5 and we can consider concessions on a case-by-case basis. If you aren’t sure which production would best suit your group, please do get in touch and we would be happy to help guide you.
Please note that we are only able to allocate a total of 40 tickets per school group. However, if you wanted to come to both performances, you could book 80 tickets in total.
We are also offering workshops for students to learn more about music, theatre and the production itself, and a CPD workshop for teachers. Please indicate when booking if you are interested in taking part in both or either of these workshops.
