Introducing the 2025 Young Artists

Opera Holland Park is delighted to present the 2025 cohort of Young Artists for this year's production of Itch. The Young Artists performance will take place on Sunday 8 June at 2.00pm. Our Young Artists Scheme is unique in the UK. It offers the opportunity for emerging artists to rehearse in a professional environment and perform on a major London stage to a paying audience during our summer festival. The scheme also encourages participants to develop outreach and education skills through their involvement with our award-winning Inspire programme.

Conductor Josephine Korda

Josephine studied at the University of Oxford and completed her masters at the Royal Northern College of Music. This is her OHP debut.

Director Edwina Strobl

Edwina studied at the University College London and completed her masters at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. She was the Assistant Director for Pagliacci at Opera Holland Park in 2024.

Repetiteur Mark Wigglesworth

Mark studied at the University of Otago and is currently studying for his masters at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. This is his OHP debut.

Itchingham Lofte Sebastian Hill

Sebastian studied Music at the University of Oxford and is currently studying a masters at Guildhall School of Music and Drama with scholarships from Guildhall School, R H Taylor Trust, Drake Calleja Trust and The Countess of Munster Trust. This is his OHP debut.

Jack Lofte Madeline Robinson

Madeline studied at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and completed her masters at Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She sang in the OHP Chorus in 2023 for Ruddigore and in 2022 for Carmen.

Jude Lofte/Roshanna Wing Eleri Gwilym

Eleri studied at Cardiff University and completed her masters at the Royal Academy of Music. She sang in the OHP chorus in 2024 for Acis and Galatea and The Yeomen of the Guard, in 2023 for Hansel and Gretel, Rigoletto and Les Noces, in 2022 for Carmen, in 2021 for La traviata.

Watkins Maria Willis

Maria studied at Trinity Laban and completed her masters at the Royal College of Music. This is her OHP debut.

Nicholas Lofte Eoin Foran

Eoin studied at TU Dublin before completing his masters at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. He has since studied at the Irish National Opera Studio. This is his OHP debut.

Flowerdew Michael Temporal-Darell

Michael has studied at Guildhall School of Music and the Royal Academy of Music. He is currently a member of the Internationales Opernstudio at Luzerner Theatre. This is his OHP debut.

Bob Evert/Kinch Jonah Halton

Jonah studied at Guildhall School of Music and Drama. This is his OHP debut.

Cake/Berghahn Keith Pun

Keith studied at The Chinese University of Hong Kong before completing his masters at the Royal College of Music and gaining an Artist Diploma in Opera Performance from Flemish Opera Studio. This is his OHP debut.
