INSPIRE tickets for the 2020 Season go on sale on Wednesday 11 March 2020 at 10am. Tickets will be available to purchase for productions of Eugene Onegin, Rigoletto, The Merry Widow, the double bill of Margot la Rouge and Le Villi, and The Pirates of Penzance. To purchase tickets, just visit the individual production pages at the links above, select the date you would like to attend and follow the steps through the purchase path.

All INSPIRE tickets are priced at £22, except for the Young Artists Performance of Eugene Onegin on Thursday 18 June which are priced at £20.

INSPIRE tickets are located in the pink price band, and appear on the seating plan as stars.

In order to maximise the reach of our INSPIRE scheme, please note that each customer will be allowed to book up to two tickets per opera, and a total of five tickets across the whole season. Any tickets purchased in excess of these guidelines will be returned and refunded, so please take care to follow the limits. Multiple instances of exceeding the limit may result in exclusion from participating in our free or discounted ticket schemes in the future.

Tickets are available online only. We expect booking to be very busy, so we recommend arriving on our website at, or just after, 10am on Wednesday 11 March to minimise your waiting time.

Please be as flexible as possible with the dates and productions you would like to book, to ensure you have the best chance of securing INSPIRE tickets.

Please note that our Discovery Matinee performance of Rigoletto on Sunday 18 June at 2pm will be a relaxed performance with a Touch Tour, audio-description and accessible ticket pricing. There will be no INSPIRE tickets available for sale for this performance on Wednesday 11 March although all tickets across the theatre are priced between £25-£40 to allow newcomers to discover opera. Find out more about what our Discovery Matinee will involve here.
