In Will Todd and Maggie Gottlieb’s version of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, we find Alice at the Grimthorpe pet shop. Here she meets the talking White Rabbit who leads her down the rabbit hole into the strange, magical world of Wonderland.
Much like Alice in the pet shop, we wish we could adopt all of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland costumes and props: from the White Rabbit’s pocket watch to the Mad Hatter’s hat, and from the White Knight’s colander helmet to the Caterpillar’s hookah-pipe. As part of our new ‘Adopt a Prop’ scheme, you can do just that!
How it works:
Browse the props available below and make a donation for the prop you’d like to ‘adopt’. We have provided suggested donation prices for each prop, but you are welcome to adjust this to suit your capacity for giving.
For donations of £75 or more, we will send you a digital ‘adoption certificate’ as a thank you.
For donations of £125 or more, we will also send you a physical copy of the certificate and a postcard.
For donations of £250 or more, we will send you the items mentioned above, as well as a programme signed by a member of the cast.
For donations of £500 or more, we will send you the items mentioned above, and invite you to join us in the Ensemble bar prior to the performance.
If you would like to make this donation as a gift and get the adoption certificate printed in someone else’s name, you can absolutely do so! Just get in touch with the team at development@operahollandpark.com, and we’ll take care of the rest.
