In partnership with Kensington and Chelsea Festival, Carnival Village Trust presents four nights of Carnival Music performed within the beautiful setting of Opera Holland Park. Showcasing the best in both traditional and contemporary Caribbean musicians, the programme celebrates the culture and heritage of Carnival through the musical genres of calypso, jazz and steelpan. This series of performances brings together two of West London’s most well-loved musical institutions in celebration of the resilience of live music with the Kensington and Chelsea Festival

Steelband Summer – Wednesday 17 August 7.30pm
Join us for an evening of London’s finest steelbands. Ebony, Endurance, Mangrove and Pan Nation will take you on a musical journey of songs old & new. With a special performance from Anne Fridal.

Pan Jazz – Friday 19 August 7.30pm
An evening of Caribbean jazz from the Engine Room Collective featuring steelpan virtuosi Andre White, Samuel Dubois, Carlene “Sweet Wrists” Etienne, Deborah “Pan Diva” Eden, Duvone Stewart & Annise “Haffers” Hadeed.

A Night with David Rudder – Saturday 20 August 8pm
Join us for a night with one of the top calypsonians of our time as he comes to the UK to bless the stage with hits such as The Hammer, Calypso Music, High Mass and many more.
