The Royal Ballet School returns to Opera Holland Park for five dazzling performances in June.
Featuring all years of the School, with dancers ranging in age from 11 to 19, this is a rare opportunity to glimpse the rising ballet stars of the future and the skills and artistry they are honing as they train at one of the world’s leading ballet schools.
Beginning with excerpts from Petipa’s Paquita, the programme will also include two works by The Royal Ballet’s Founder Choreographer Frederick Ashton, the pas de deux from Rhapsody and La Valse.
The School will also present Concerto Grosso by Helgi Tómasson and Didy Veldman’s playful TooT. There will be Jerome Robbins’ satirical Mistake Waltz and new works by Gemma Bond and Ashley Page. School alumnus and First Artist of The Royal Ballet, Joshua Junker, will work with Upper School students to stage his piece Remembrance, originally choreographed for Dutch National Ballet Junior Company in 2023.
