Rosamund Bartlett, cultural historian, translator and biographer of Tolstoy and Chekhov, and Opera Holland Park’s Anna Picard discuss Pushkin’s verse novel and the germination of Tchaikovsky’s most well-loved opera. They are joined by Lada Valešová, pianist and conductor of the 2020 Young Artists performance of Eugene Onegin.
