Inspire

Created in 2010, Inspire is Opera Holland Park’s award-winning outreach and education programme. Led by Abigail Sudbury, the Inspire team works with schools and charities to reach as wide a range of people as possible in projects from one-to-one sessions with care home residents to group activities and family workshops, and has been able to move many of its activities online during the health crisis. Earlier this year, the team took a reduced and relaxed version of Gilbert and Sullivan’s comic operetta, The Pirates of Penzance, from London to Cornwall, performing to – and with – old and young audiences along the way.
