Have you ever wanted to look completely different? Linchpin of the Opera Holland Park Chorus, Ian Massa-Harris is a specialist in prosthetics, special effects, historical, character and theatrical make-up. Here he will take us through the art of transforming your face for the stage.
This session will be conducted online and will be available to watch live on Facebook and YouTube at 10.30am and 12.15pm on Saturday 23 May.

Ian Massa-Harris
Ian is a dramatic character tenor and has worked with Opera Holland Park since 2002. He combines his work as a singer with an international career as a make-up artist and designer in film, television, theatre, ballet, opera and stage musicals. Recent credits include work for the Menier Chocolate Factory, Hindsight Bias and Rockstars Vs Vampires. As a singer, he trained at the Royal College of Music. As a make-up artist, he trained with Kryolan and was mentored by the late Ron Freeman, Wig Master and Make-Up Master at the Royal Opera House and Opera Holland Park. Ian teaches SFX and Prosthetics and has lectured at the London Academy of Media, Film and TV and Westminster College.
