Alison Langer

British soprano Alison Langer studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Engagements include a Whistlestop Tour (Opera North), Musetta La bohème (Iford Arts)‚ Bridesmaid Le nozze di Figaro (Glyndebourne), Young Heidi Follies (National Theatre), Lisette La rondine (Opera in the Open‚ Dublin)‚ Norina I pazzi per progetto and the title role Erodiade (The Opera Story). She made her OHP debut as Edith in the 2015 Inspire intergenerational project based on The Pirates of Penzance. Alison sang the rang of Violetta in La traviata as an OHP Young Artist in 2018, returning to the company as a principal in 2019 as Oscar in Un ballo in maschera.

 

Nadine Benjamin

Nadine made her Opera Holland Park debut as Ermyntrude in Isabeau (2018), returning to sing the role of Amelia in Un ballo in maschera (2019) alongside the 2019 OHP Young Artists. She is an ENO Harewood Artist and was the winner of the inaugural Fulham Opera Robert Presley Memorial Verdi Prize. Her roles include Clara in Porgy and Bess, Musetta La bohème and Laura Luisa Miller (ENO), Tosca Tosca (ETO, Everybody Can! Opera), Countess The Marriage of Figaro (ETO), Violetta La traviata (Mediterranean Opera Festival), Desdemona Otello (Everybody Can! Opera), Nadia The Ice Break (Birmingham Opera Company) and Aida Aida (Opera de Baugé).

 

Paul Carey Jones

Paul Carey Jones is a Welsh bass-baritone whose recent career highlights include The Colonel in Daniel Bjarnason’s Brothers and Marchese d’Obigny in La traviata (Icelandic Opera), Scarpia Tosca (Nevill Holt Opera) and roles in The Nose (Royal Opera House), Macbeth (Northern Ireland Opera) and Philip Glass’s The Trial (Scottish Opera). Other recent engagements include covering Donner Das Rheingold, Gunther Götterdämmerung and Wotan Der Ring des Nibelungen (Royal Opera House). Paul made his Opera Holland Park debut as Lescaut in Manon Lescaut (2019) and sang the role of Wotan in Das Rheingold (Grimeborn) and in Die Walküre (Göteborg Opera).
