The Cunning Little Vixen opened at Opera Holland Park on 13 July, receiving four star reviews from publications including the Evening Standard and The Stage.

Barry Millington for the Evening Standard said: “This family-friendly production of Janáček’s celebration of nature is perfect for London’s greenest opera house.”

George Hall for The Stage described it as a “moving production of Janáček’s paean to the natural world”. 

This new production is directed by Stephen Barlow, designed by Andrew D Edwards, and conducted by Jessica Cottis. It also features lighting design by Rory Beaton and choreography by Sarita Piotrowski.

The cast includes Jennifer France as the Vixen, Julia Sporsén as the Fox and Grant Doyle as the Forester.
