At a time when everyone values warmth, comfort and shelter, we celebrate our long relationship with the local charity Refettorio Felix through a collection of coats and sleeping bags for the most vulnerable members of our community. A donation point for unwanted items will be available at the concert and we encourage patrons and attendees to give generously.
The Opera Holland Park Christmas Concert at St Columba’s Church, Knightsbridge on Saturday 7 December 2019 will include performances by sopranos Nadine Benjamin and Alison Langer, mezzo-soprano Yvonne Howard, baritone Ross Ramgobin and the Opera Holland Park Chorus.
Hosted by Penny Smith, guest readers and speakers include Simon Mayo, Anneka Rice and Sir Trevor McDonald. Music from traditional carols and seasonal songs to works by Roxanna Panufnik, Will Todd and Mark-Anthony Turnage will be sung in aid of OHP’s award-winning education and outreach programme, Inspire.
