We are Opera Holland Park. Every summer we build a theatre and perform new productions of rarities and well-known classics to audiences from across the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and beyond.

We are an urban company in a leafy, airy setting. We identify and nurture emerging talent through our Young Artists scheme, and welcome singers, conductors, directors and designers back as their careers take flight.

We are an independent charity and receive no subsidy from Arts Council England. We build the audiences of the future in our work with schools, and take music to those for whom a traditional theatre setting is inaccessible.

During the pandemic our Inspire team has been using digital technology to bring song and opera to the elderly, vulnerable and isolated. In May we moved our annual Open Day online. In June we streamed the film of our 2019 production of Un ballo in maschera to mark what would have been the first week of our 2020 Season.

In July and August we brought live music back to Holland Park, performing a series of concerts outdoors on our theatre site and presenting a family performance of The Pirates of Penzance. Behind the scenes we have been supporting our creative teams and the OHP Young Artists as we work towards our return to the stage this summer.

In the current climate, we rely more than ever on the generosity of people like you. Any donation you can give us today will go a long way to help us continue our work in the community and look forward to 2021 and a time when we can perform again in our theatre.
