Music and drama are key to a child's development and to the well-being of a family, so we have created these workshops to give you a chance to develop, bond and unite through some glorious music, in the beautiful surroundings of Holland Park.
It is well-known that families with young children face barriers to visiting the theatre for fear of disturbing the show with crying, fidgeting and agitation from your little ones. We have devised a family workshop where you are welcome to bring your children to experience aspects of our productions in an intimate, welcoming and relaxed atmosphere.
Workshops will include multi-sensory activities, group singing and music based around Opera Holland Park productions. We will provide a safe and nurturing space at the theatre in which parents can explore opera together with their children and enjoy a creative and musical day out. Breast-feeding mums are welcome, as are grandparents!
This workshop is open to all, but has been adapted to suit the needs of children with learning difficulties and their families.
