We are very excited to share with you these early rehearsal photos from our upcoming production of Janáček’s The Cunning Little Vixen.
The opera explores the cyclical power of nature, tracking the lives of Vixen and the Forester after their chance encounter when the Vixen is just a cub. The Cunning Little Vixen captures the joys, thrills, fears and sorrows of our existence – whether or not we have a tail.
The cast includes Jennifer France as the Vixen, Julia Sporsén as the Fox and Grant Doyle as the Forester.
This new production is directed by Stephen Barlow, designed by Andrew D Edwards, and conducted by Jessica Cottis. It also features lighting design by Rory Beaton and choreography by Sarita Piotrowski.
Performances are scheduled from 13-30 July at 7.30pm and 25 July at 2pm. Tickets are on sale now.
