To celebrate our 2021 series of song recitals, Opera in Song, Mezzo-soprano Fleur Barron and Pianist Dylan Perez perform 'Cuba dentro de un piano' by Spanish composer and music critic Xavier Montsalvatge.
2021’s programme, Opera in Song, explored the music and stories of the 2021 Season’s operas and beyond through the art of song. The series of recitals was co-curated by Dylan Perez and Julien Van Mellaerts.
Perez performed in all three of the recitals. Fleur Barron appeared in the opening show, ‘The Diary of One Who Disappeared’, alongside Nicky Spence and 2021 Opera Holland Park Young Artists Charlotte Badham, Charlotte Bowden and Isabelle Peters.
