On 7 December 2018 six members of our Hip Hop to Opera cast travelled to Milan with Opera Holland Park's General Director Michael Volpe to attend the Film Fest International awards ceremony.
The documentary, which followed eight inner city teenagers as they experienced opera for the first time, was nominated for three awards and won two of them: Best Director of a Short Documentary and Best Cinematography in a Short Documentary.
While in Milan, the cast also visited Lake Como and La Scala, and below you can see a slideshow of images documenting their trip. All the photos were taken by Laima Arlauskaite.
